Specifically, the Husband Bed Rest Pillow measures 31" overall with the neck roll. The neck roll adds an additional 7" to the overall dimension of this comfortable back support pillow. Our medium size Husband Pillow is about 18 inches tall without the neckroll. With the neckroll attached, the height is about 23 inches tall.

The Husband bed rest pillow is the ultimate in comfort for many reasons - as a bed backrest, a support pillow, a TV pillow, bed pillow for reading, sitting pillow, bed seat and just about any other backrest need!

The main difference in the two pillows is that the Original Version has a one-sided removable soft velour cover, while the Aspen Edition features a two-sided cover which is microsuede on one side and microfiber on the other. We also offer a two-sided cover in our Fabulous Faux Fur Line.

The Husband Pillow is sturdy enough to stand alone, although you may prefer to place it against something sturdy.

Yes as long as 2/3 of the pillow is supported, it should work.

You can take some out so it “gives” more to your weight on it, and it can be leaned back! Just keep that filling in case you want to make it firmer again.

The neck pillow can be used for lumbar support, but only if detached.

1. Take the bungee cord strap with the neck roll portion of the pillow and find the end of the strap that has a slit in it.
2. Locate the button on the main part of the pillow where the neck roll will be attached.
3. Slide the button through the slit in the end of the bungee cord strap to attach it to the button.
4. If you want the neck roll to sit higher on the main part of the pillow, wrap the bungee cord around the button until it is tight.
5. Once the bungee cord is wrapped around the button, push the button through the slit in the end of the cord to secure it in place.

This will keep the neck roll pillow attached securely to the main part of the husband pillow.

The fiber fill shell version is a bit softer. The memory foam shell version is more firm and supportive.

The Husband Pillow covers are hypoallergenic. The pillow shell is made out of memory foam. We do offer a hypoallergenic fiber fill shell version as well. You just have to buy the shell only and then the cover separately.

The velvet is soft when stroked in all directions.

No Feathers. This version is made with Memory Foam and Regular Foam Blend. Available for sale separately are a hypoallergenic fiber fill shell and covers in 35 unique colors & styles, allowing you to create your own pillow set. If you need extra Foam Blend stuffing or Fiber Fill stuffing we can supply at no extra cost.

"The one that I bought did not have an odor to it. Because it has foam in it, I would not put it in the dryer with heat. Maybe try some Febreze or place it in a plastic trash bag with some kind of scent and keep it in there for a day or two."

1. Yes. Your new pillow is highly compressed to allow for the lowest shipping cost, however, we’ve opted NOT to compress your new cover so as to avoid severe wrinkling that could be caused by the compression process. It's easy to put the cover on our pillows.

Yes, right away, and test different configurations on each side of the pillow. Experimenting with different pillow heights and types can help you find the best option for you. A pillow that is too high or too low can cause strain on the neck and lead to discomfort or pain. A good rule of thumb is: If you use a pillow that keeps your spine in a neutral position, your muscles will still feel relaxed after 10 minutes. Your neck and head are in alignment with the rest of the body. This can vary for different sleep positions, for example, side sleepers may prefer a thicker pillow to keep the spine aligned, while stomach and back sleepers may prefer a thinner pillow.

Just flip it over! The tunnels will help lock your head in place and prevent you flipping and turning as much. You can stake stuffing out of or put stuffing into the pillars to help secure your head.

• Daily: Fluff up your pillow by hand every morning to help it maintain its shape.
• Weekly: Wash your pillowcase every 1-2 weeks to keep it clean.
• Monthly: Tumble dry your pillow on low heat for 15-30 minutes once a month to freshen it up and revive its loft.
• Annually: In case of a spill, wash your pillow (not more than once a year).

When washing the pillow:

• Secure the zipper closed with a safety pin to ensure that it does not open/spill filling during the wash.
• Use cold water and the delicate cycle.
• Do not use fabric softener or bleach.

When drying the pillow:

• Dry one pillow at a time.
• Tumble dry low until the inner pillow is completely dry before use.
• This may take several cycles and differs depending on your washer and dryer.

No. Our pillows are made from new materials that are specifically designed for your pillow, therefore, a new pillow does not need to be washed immediately after purchase. If you choose to wash your pillow, please follow the directions below:

• Removable Pillowcase: Wash in cold water on the delicate cycle. Don't use fabric softener or bleach. Tumble dry low, make sure the pillowcase is completely dry before using.
  
• Inner Pillow Liner: Pin zipper closed before washing in cold water on the delicate cycle. Don't use fabric softener or bleach. Dry one pillow at a time on low in the dryer. Make sure the pillow is completely dry before using.
  
• Please note we recommend: To keep your pillow in good shape, it's best to limit washings to once per year.

You may notice this normal odor from the production process when first opening your new pillow. It is not harmful and will dissipate. If you’re still not satisfied after the first 48 hours, our company has a fiber fill version and we would be happy to send a replacement pillow shell for you to try.

The memory foam used in our pillows may have a slight scent as a result of the production process, but this is completely normal and not harmful. The CertiPUR-US® certification confirms that the foam is free of harmful chemicals and safe for you. You can easily reduce the scent by placing the pillow in a dryer on low heat for an hour or two with a dryer sheet, or by allowing it to air out in direct sunlight for a day or two. Please be reassured that these pillows are safe for your use and you can use them with full trust.

While it is not necessary to use an additional pillowcase, you can certainly use one if you prefer. Our outer cover is machine washable and dryer friendly. If you're looking to personalize your pillow, feel free to use a different pillowcase. If you do decide to use an additional pillowcase, make sure you get one that fits the dimensions of our pillow.

Because we only use the highest quality memory foam for our pillows, we manufacture brand new foam in our factory. During the manufacturing process, the memory foam needs time to dry completely. At this stage, we use a black marker to mark the new memory foam buns with the manufacture date. As a result, some of the foam pieces may have remnants of this ink, but rest assured — it’s completely harmless. Additionally, our foam is CertiPUR-US® certified, meaning that it has been rigorously tested for content, emissions, and durability and meets all standards.

Memory foam is temperature sensitive, so the pillow will become firm at temperatures below 65° F. If exposed to temperatures below 50° F, the pillow may feel solid. We recommend placing the pillow in the dryer on low heat for 30 minutes to warm up, or if you're in an area with the temperature above 65° F, you may warm it in direct sunlight.

Absolutely not — we only create products that we would feel safe using in our own homes and we would never want to expose our customers to toxic chemicals.

Wipe the pillow with a clean damp sponge, gently wring out any remaining water, and air dry. Do not use an excessive amount of water to clean the pillow. Never soak or submerge memory foam or microbead pillows. Cover: Machine wash separately inside out with cold water delicate cycle. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low.
