When you made a purchase with us, you were shopping for a cause. We believe in conservation efforts that help making the world a better place. In an ongoing effort to rid the oceans of harmful plastics, a portion of every single purchase is donated to the Ocean Cleanup project.
The not for profit project was founded by a young man named Boyan Slat, who dedicates his life for his mission to rid global seas of plastic pollution; and, moreover, to morph the waste that soils our waters and poisons our sea life into usable products, and even oil.
We support the monumental efforts of the Dutch-born Slat, who is backing up his words with a revolutionary seaborne invention known as the plastic catching system. And to aid his efforts, we are committed to donating a portion of each of our sales to his organization, The Ocean Cleanup.
